Coat Length:
Straight, short, flat.
Grooming Requirement:
Brushing with a bristled brush will remove loose hair and massage the skin. Bathing is required fairly often to eliminate odor which may develop in the folds of the skin. Special care must be taken to dry and powder the area in the folds in order to prevent chaffing and rawness.
Activity Level:
Very low.
Temperament:
Gentle, slow, kind.
Reception to Training:
Fair.
Good with Children:
Tolerant of children as long as the children are "dog wise".
Health Problems:
Resperatory problems, back problems, hip displasia, epilepsy, eye problems.
Life Span:
7 to 10 years
