Double - thick, downy undercoat, long, straight, harsh open outer coat.
Grooming Requirement:
This dog must be combed out weekly to prevent matting. He should be bathed monthly. Grooming will require a minimum of 1 to 2 hours per week. If allowed to go ungroomed, he will quickly matt. Clipping damages the hair.

Friendly with people and with other animals.
